Nail Treatments

At present I offer Shellac, Minx, french polish, manicure, luxury manicure, pedicure and luxury pedicure. The nail extensions that will be offered are acrylic and are very natural looking nails. The acrylic nails at the nail bar are brilliant for everyday wear and those special occasions such as: party nights out, prom, event, fashion, model portfolios, weddings, makeovers and make up for commercial advertising.

Shellac are brilliant and last for 1-2 weeks. They varnish is applied with a heat machine and make them some of the toughest varnishes on the market. They are non chip, waterproof and look amazing.

Minx nails lead the way in fashion nails. They have a solid film with an adhesive backing that is activated by heat. The heat gives Minx the ability to fit over the compound curve of a nail which is then sealed onto the bed of the nail. Minx nails will last 1-2 weeks and can be removed with heat. They will also withstand being in the bath as Minx nails have a waterproof seal.

With the acrylic nails a plastic acrylic nail tip is applied to your natural nail. We use professional nail glue. The nail tip is then buffed and blended together so the join amalgamates together as one and disappears. We then shape the nail to your desired specification in preparation for the next step of the acrylic overlay.

The acrylic overlay is a fine powder which is mixed with a special liquid which is then ready for use with the application brush. The acrylic is then shaped over the tip of the nail and very quickly sets. The nail is buffed and polished with a buffer ensuring you are left with that natural finish, or ready for the nail varnish.
